I so much enjoy going to Brazos Bend State Park for either a visit or the monthly Photowalk (click on this link for the Volunteer page and then look for Activities on the left hand menu and then click on Photowalk). It is such a great place for nature and landscape photography. No two visits are the same.
I had been anxious to try out my new 70-300mm zoom lens I got for my birthday (thanks to all those who donated to the cause). It turned out to be a great investment as it got me closer to the animals. The only thing about a longer zoom lens is you still want a longer one.
You can click on any of these photos to enlarge it and then use the back button your browser to return to my blog. You can visit my Flickr page to see all of the photographs at this link.
