South Padre Turtles

Continuing from my last post about a recent trip to South Padre Island, we also visited an organization dedicated to saving turtles called Sea Turtle, Inc. We learned about the Turtle Lady, Ila Loetscher, and how she came to form this organization. They have found several Ridley Sea Turtle nesting sites and are tracking them on their web site.


Here are a few pictures of the turtles at their location. It was a great place to visit.
